TEACHING ASSISTANT - BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT

A dynamic and confident teaching assistant is required immediately to work with secondary aged pupils who have behaviourial difficulties. Based in a special school, the role would include supporting the classteacher during lessons, monitoring and dealing with behaviour of the pupils, and writing assessments and IEP's. The ideal teaching assistant should have a keen interest in working with young people who have learning difficulties, or a graduate with relevant experience or interest. Suitably experienced Teaching Assistants would be requested to hold a current CRB, this is a temporary position leading to permanent for the right candidate.
