Wanted! Super Camps are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to help run our activity day camps for children aged 4-14 years old. We are currently seeking individuals to work during the October Half term at various locations across the UK including Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Middlesex, London, Northamptonshire, Surrey, Berkshire.

The Early Years and Play Instructor is the main point of contact for the younger children during their time at Super Camps. They will also act as a Group Leader and be responsible for registering Crews during the whole week. The Early Years and Play Instructor will be assigned to their Crew as much as possible, working with them during the first and last activity session as a minimum

1. Lead groups of children in the timetabled activities ensuring maximum participation.
2. Lead on the planning of activities to ensure they are fun, stimulating, organised, structured and safe.
3. Take a role in the meet and greet of parents at the start and end of the day.
4. Manage the exchange of all relevant information on the children in the group.
5. Assist with the smooth and timely hand over of children at drop off and collection.
6. Supervise children during the free time club at the beginning and end of the day.
7. Undertake other duties as required by the Site Manager and/or Senior Activity Instructor(s), including kit management and cleaning.
8. Fulfil the functions of the Senior Activity Instructor(s) if required.

An Early Years and Play Instructor will ideally be studying towards a primary teaching, early years or childcare qualification Previous experience working with children is strongly desirable. Enthusiasm, energy and an interest in working with children are essential. Minimum age 18 +. Pay is £225 per week for 18 to 21 year olds rising to £270 per week for 22 year olds and over.

Additional bonuses are offered for Academies. If you have the relevant experience and qualifications to run an academy in any of the following: Football, Swimming, Trampolining, Art and Drama, you will receive an additional £25 per week for doing so. (This does not apply if you are a Site Manager / Senior Activity Instructor / Specialist Instructor)

Further qualifications required on camp are Paediatric First Aiders. This person will be appointed as the on site First Aider along with one of the above positions for the duration of their employment. You will receive an additional £25 per week for taking on this responsibility unless you have been trained by Super Camps as you will receive this training free of charge.
