Acorn Adventure is the UK's leading provider of real outdoor adventure camps for schools, groups and families with centres in the UK, France and Italy. We have been making a positive difference to the lives of young people for 25 years.
We are looking to recruit qualified and experienced Activity Instructors to deliver taster activity sessions and our evening entertainment programme at our centres in the Lake District & the Brecon Beacons National Parks.
We are ideally looking for people with experience of working in outdoor adventure with young people between 7-17 yrs old and with coaching qualifications in different activities, such as canoeing, kayaking, sailing, climbing, ropes, fencing etc.
You will need plenty of energy, enthusiasm, motivation and the ability to relate to young people and adults alike. We expect our staff to deliver excellent customer service to our guests, whilst delivering fun and safe activity sessions.
There will be opportunities to gain NGB qualifications in different activities at different times throughout the season. We are looking for people who can start in April 2009 and commit to the season (early September).
Requirements: Coaching Qualifications preferred
BCU Level 2 Training & above (Canoe or Kayak)
RYA Dinghy Instructor
RYA Windsurf Level 1 Instructor
SPA Training & above
ML Training & above
Holders of Land Based NGB's, e.g. GNAS, BFA, BOF
